VACANCY: PARALEGAL INTERN

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Paralegal Intern to support our legal team and ensure the smooth execution of our practice operations. The role is offered as a three-month internship, renewable, with the possibility of absorption into a long-term paralegal position for candidates who prove a strong fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and assist in preparing initial drafts of legal documents, briefs, and correspondence
• Organize and manage case records, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible
• Work closely with the advocates to prepare for hearings, trials, and client meetings
• Serve as a professional and approachable point of contact for clients, court registries, and external stakeholders, handling administrative matters and routine correspondence

Requirements

• Currently completing a Diploma in Law at the Kenya School of Law (due to graduate this year), or holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and is pursuing a long-term career as a paralegal rather than admission as an advocate
• Strong foundational understanding of legal procedures, research methodologies, and document formatting
• Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to adopt and effectively use legal technology platforms
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to the success of the wider legal team
